Express Yourself Clearly & Confidently

This LIP Session is hosted by Tarrant County College, Northwest Campus. 

This session offers a writing skills workshop that addresses the importance of effective writing skills; and the start to help you in developing and practicing public speaking, making a positive first impressions for job and college interviews, and thank you note techniques to help you stand out from the crowd. 



Goals

The goals and outcomes of the LIP Session are as follow:
  • The LIP student will start the process to prepared to go in for a college interview.
  • The LIP student will be able to participate in a speed dating activity with other students.
  • The LIP student will be ready to draft their first college essay.
  • The LIP student will be able to write and adhere to thank you card etiquette.

Park in the North Parking Lot (yellow square). There is no need to register your vehicle or pay for parking.
Building
The session will take place in the Library located in WTLO (red circle). You will enter the building and go to the elevator. The Library is located in the 3rd floor.
