​Education and Scholarship Committees

​The Education and Scholarship committees of the Hispanic Women's Network of Texas, Fort Worth Chapter (HWNT-FW) are made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who help LIP students attain the skills to lead and succeed. Members of the Education and Scholarship Committees encourage LIP students through mentorship and provide resources for students' personal, educational and professional pursuits. If you are an HWNT member, please join us - you are sure to be ​inspired by these young ladies and your fellow volunteers.

May 5, 2025: Welcome Letter to Mentors & Committee Members
May 8, 2025: First Education Committee Meeting (Signing Day)
June 5, 2025: Second Education Committee Meeting (UTA)
June 21, 2025: Committee determines Cohort
July 10, 2025: Third Education Committee Meeting (Women’s Center)
July 26, 2025: Mentor Retreat – Match Day!
August 14, 2025: Fourth Education Committee Meeting (Texas Wesleyan)
September 18, 2025: Fifth Education Committee Meeting (TCU)
October 16, 2025: Sixth Education Committee Meeting (Holiday Social)
November 20, 2025: Seventh Education Committee Meeting (HSC)
December 18, 2025: Eighth Education Committee Meeting (Tarleton)
