COLLEGE VISITS
TARLETON STATE UNIVERSITY
Our friends at Tarleton State University have invited the ladies from LIP to visit their campus! They will be providing transportation on March 25th, 2016 to take a visit to to their campus where we will talk with College Admissions, take a tour and have lunch and return back to Fort Worth. This is a waiver day in FWISD. Unfortunately this was the only day that works for the majority of individuals. If you are not in a FWISD school, please contact me if you are interested to see if your school will excuse the absence. I need to know how many will likely attend. BIG IDEA PLAN COMPETITION
BIG IDEA COMPETITION
Thank you ladies for having great BIG IDEAS! We want to help you take those ideas one step further. You all are making such reputation on how awesome you all are that we had donors sponsor a "Business Plan Competition." If you would like to take your Big Idea and compete against other LIP students, we will be holding a competition for a cash prize. You will be able to utilize this prize toward your BIG IDEA or towards your education plans. This is an individual, optional, project. However; if you would like to participate as a team, you will need to meet on your own and remember that the prize is per entry, whether it is one person or more than one person. Please utilize the plan below, that we used at the UNT Session 3. Also, you will need to register yourself or team by January 15th, below. Once you have registered yourself or team, I will keep you updated on the time, date and location, for the competition.
