Congratulations, Class of 2014 LIP Graduates!
The LIP Students have worked hard all year to gather references, write personal statements, complete their college applications, and research and apply for scholarships. Now, it is time to celebrate!!! Please join HWNT-FW from 9:30 am - noon on Saturday, April 26th for one of our most exciting events of the year - the Scholarship & Awards Brunch! At this event, we celebrate the hard work and accomplishments of the LIP students. This year's class chose the following theme for this year's banquet - Awareness for Bullying Prevention. HWNT will promote this cause through a blue color theme.
A few things to remember:
1. Please note that the attire is "dressy blue" which means no shorts, jeans or tennis shoes. You are not, however, expected to purchase a formal dress. Attendees are encouraged to wear blue to the brunch to show your support for bullying awareness and prevention. Remember, attendees will be made up of administrators from local independent school districts and our community partners, donors, elected officials, and HWNT members, so you will want to make a great impression!
2. All Class of 2014 LIP Students are invited to attend! Even if you did not submit a scholarship application or turn in a make-up assignment for a missed session, please join us to celebrate your successful participation of the LIP Education Program.
3. Because space is limited, each student is allowed to bring only one guest.
4. Please RSVP at www.lipscholarshipbanquet.eventbrite.com by 5:00 pm on April 19, 2014. Only those students who RSVP will be e-mailed a parking pass for the TCC parking garage.
We are very proud of you and are excited to see you for this lovely occasion!
