LIP Class of 2019 Volunteer Opportunities
Illuminating LIP Stars of 2019:
One requirement for LIP participants is to complete 12 hours of community service. There will be some opportunities with LIP to meet this requirement but there are also other opportunities in our local community. Take advantage and sign up for any of the following opportunities that may interest you. If you can go with a friend, excellent! But if not, don’t miss out on volunteer opportunities to help you explore interests you never thought about or nurture those that were buried inside or keep gravitating towards those that you naturally seek. By giving yourself the opportunity to connect with books, children, animals, nature, music, art, etc. and others while simultaneously giving back to your community will undoubtedly bring joy to you and anyone around you. You may find yourself developing an interest in something new… or… reaffirming something you already knew about yourself. Either way, you add up your volunteer hours, spend time giving back and hopefully the intrinsic sensation of giving brings out your smile as you contribute in a meaningful way your community. I personally thank you on behalf of our LIP Education Committee for a positive attitude and sharing your talents and gift of time.
